The following practice guides shall be examined:
- PG8 – Execution of Deeds
- PG9 – Powers of attorney and registered land
- PG19 – Notices, restrictions and protection of third-party interests
- PG29 – Registration of legal charges and deeds of variation of charge
- PG82 – Electronic signatures accepted by HM Land Registry
Course Details:
This covers a wide range of topics, which will be useful for conveyancers, and support staff of all levels. Areas covered include:
- guidance on execution of deeds and on applications involving an attorney
- advice on evidence HM Land Registry needs when an attorney has executed documents lodged for registration
- restrictions and notices – the different types of notices and restrictions are explained and how to apply for registration of them. The effect of existing registered notices and restrictions on new applications are also discussed
- advice on registration of legal charges and deeds of variation
- electronic signatures – guidance on when HM Land Registry will accept electronic signatures, and the requirements that accompany the use of an electronic signature.

Home or from work. Courses shall be conducted online in a live workshop setting, where you will have the opportunity to interact with your trainer and other participants.
