Course Details:

This bundle covers topics, which are essential in assisting conveyancers to avoid unnecessary requisitions at the post-completion stage, by completing pre-exchange transactional elements in a compliant manner. Areas covered include:

 

  • the procedure to follow when applying for first registration of an unregistered estate
  • guidance on what overriding interests are and when they need to be disclosed
  • how to make an application to protect, renew or cancel a home rights notice arising under the Family Law Act 1996
  • guidance on applications to register transactions involving trustees of land
  • guidance on when HM Land Registry will accept electronic signatures, and the requirements that accompany the use of an electronic signature.
